This Hikvision DS-2DE4225W-DE 2MP 25X Network PTZ IP Camera outdoor-ready PTZ network camera by Hikvision delivers 2-megapixel resolution at full frame rate, complete with true day/night recording for affordable 24-hour CCTV. Housed in an IP66-rated and vandal-resistant casing, the camera features full pan/tilt functionality with a powerful 25x optical zoom for an in-depth scene examination. Free remote access is also supported via Hikvision’s iVMS-4200 video management system (VMS).

Using 3D noise reduction and wide dynamic range (WDR) technologies, the unit can capture clear video footage in challenging lighting conditions. Camera-based video motion detection alarms are configurable and help to alert users of activity via a choice of notification methods including email. These alarms can also be used to trigger certain tasks such as moving directly to a pre-set location to ensure vital footage is captured. Additionally, external devices can be connected via alarm I/O ports for enhanced alarm signaling.
